On December 25, on the occasion of Good Governance Day, the government of India has prepared a new digital platform called e-Sampada. With complete transparency, it is a platform where citizens of India can get benefits of various services like regularization, retention, allotment, no use certificate, etc. Keeping in view the One Nation One System under the e Sampada.

e-Sampada Portal

The e-Sampada portal and mobile app are launched instead of those four different portals and two apps to make this allotment and booking process simple, transparent, and uniform. The services include allotment for over 1 lakh government residential accommodations, office space allotment to government organizations in 45 office complexes in 28 cities, booking of 1,176-holiday homerooms, and venues like 5, Ashoka Road for social functions, etc.

On the death anniversary of late former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, this scheme was announced by the central government under one nation one system. Under the e-Sampada web portal, 4 websites have been divided and aggregated, which are as follows:

Government Residential Accommodation at e-Sampada

The core service of the Directorate of Estates is to administer the allotment of Government Residential Accommodation to the officers of eligible offices of the Government of India. The allotment process is completely automated and is done through the online application of allotment. Along with the allotment, the Directorate provides services like:

• Retention of Accommodation
• Regularization of Accommodation
• Allotment of accommodation on a temporary basis (Marriage purpose, etc.)
• Clearance/No Demand Certificate
• Actions were taken against subletting

The accommodation is allotted as per the eligibility of the applicant. The eligibility is affected by multiple factors like:

• Date of joining Government Service
• Date of your promotion
• Your pay level
• The pool you are eligible for (Part III of CGGPRA Rules, 2017)

Holiday Homes and Touring Officers Hostels at e Sampada

It is the responsibility of the government to manage the hotel bookings for the holiday homes and touring officers of the Government of India by the Directorate of Estates. The preparations for their living are done by the Central Public Works Department. Various types of rooms have been created in officers hotel to meet all their facilities and requirements.
